No more digestive issues!

Happy Labor Day to you!

70 days out from the start of this adventure! I can't go back......I feel SO great....it's amazing how much my body loves not eating any processed foods, grains, dairy or sugar.....OK, so I do have cheese once or twice per week but as for the rest, I've pretty much given it all up!

I had a scoop of ice cream last night and that was the first time in 70 days I've fed my system sugar....it was all natural ice cream, but wow was it sweet! Like a sugar bomb going off in my mouth! LOL.....it was good and all but I know I could easily go another 70 days without consuming any sugar....

I am now completely rid of all my digestive issues.....it is very liberating to be free of slavery to my bowels every day! It's been years since I've felt this great!

Now to completely gravitate to all grass fed beef and free range poultry.....then my mission will be complete....Onward

Acid Reflux no more!

For the past two years I've taken daily medication for acid reflux. Any of you have that? It is an awful pain and burning and I remember the first time I felt it I thought I was going to die! I ended up with it so bad that I opted to take the daily pill to prevent it from coming on.

Well, I got cocky after a few months and thought I could go without the daily pill and stopped taking it.....WHAM! Back with a vengeance.....yikes.....I've never been without that little blue and pink pill again.....

So, I've been reading how eating Paleo and clean cures acid reflux.....so when I ran out of my little pills a couple weeks ago, I didn't replenish them....and I haven't had acid reflux ONCE! So there is another testimony  to eating right.....

Is it Fall yet?

I know that when August hits, my favorite time of year is right around the corner....Fall.....I love, love, love Fall....it's probably my favorite season followed by Spring....we don't really have Winter here in NO CA, so it's kinf of 3 seasons.....Winter is just colder than Fall and Spring....

Fall, gets me in that mood that brings out cooking more and getting ready to break out the crock pot....now that I've banished processed foods and grains and most dairy it'll be a Fall of reckoning! I'm looking forward to new recipes and continuing my healthy way of life.

Today I roasted a ton of veggies I bought yesterday. I know if I clean and prep my veggies and meat eating clean during the week is a snap! That's when the "failure" of clean eating happens, is when we're not prepared. Then we stand in front of the fridge on a hard weekday evening and say, "what is there to eat?"

So, now in my fridge, I have roasted sweet potatoes, spaghetti squash, green beans, carrots, cauliflower and butternut squash. I have a roasted chicken as well and my salad dressing is made. And now I know in a jiffy I can whip up a salad for lunch or a quick nutritous dinner.

I also want to mention that roasted veggies are a GREAT snack too...I eat them just in their roasted state, but one thing I like to do is .with my home made salad dressing I take raw or roasted cauliflower and put it in a plastic or tupperware container. I add just a little Italian or whatever vinegarette you have on hand....shake it up and it's a great low fat snack that is very filling. You can do this with any veggie too. I'm not a big raw carrot freak, but can snack on roaasted carrots any day....

So, I am practicing for the Fall......it's right around the corner.....are you ready too?

Hello again

Happy Sunday to you!

OK, so I'm over a month into Clean & Natural eating....I've had a little cheese now and a tiny bit of grains and I didn't die but here is what I did notice.......you can really TASTE food, especially anything processed.

Last night at a friends they had served some rice. It was one of those packaged rice dishes that you pop in the micro for a couple minutes and WaLa, rice is served.....so needless to say the ingredients list was probably lengthy.....So while I did not serve myself up a helping I did grab a little bite. Wow, I could taste it boldly.....sodium was the strongest flavor but it had an "unclean" flavor to it....can't describe it but really but just kind of a "fake" flavor.....

So I validated that even though I might dabble in a grain or dairy product now and then, it will need to be clean and natural....and avoiding processed or manufactured food is something I will stick with.....I've found it isn't that hard to do and the healthy benefits will outweigh any craving or desire I have.....

Next phase is to convert to all grass fed and range free meats and go all organic, which I haven't done.....so a step at a time and it'll all come together! Have a great week!

30 Days and beyond!

Well, day 30 was yesterday.....but I will not stop there.....I feel too good to go back to the way I ate before. I LOVE eating clean and feeling great! I might sneek a bit of cheese with my wine now and then or have a whole grain muffin when I just have to....but those things and sugar will now be a treat, not an every day/week occurrance.

I haven't stepped on the scale yet, but my clothes are falling off my butt these days! I'm proud to say that this is the first time in my life that I have worked on getting healthier with just that in my mind set....GETTING HEALTHIER! The weight loss will come as well....I'm just not as focused on that as I am the bigger picture which is living out the rest of my life without chronic illness and pain, etc...

I'm enjoying a glass of wine and tonight I might have Sushi.....but it'll be the wild caught fish and veggies.....hold the rice please! Onward!

Medicine or Mayhem?

"The food we eat can either be the safest and most powerful form of medicine OR the slowest form of poison!"

Powerful words, aren't they? In the past several weeks I have read so many articles, websites and asked a ton of questions about eating clean, Paleo, Organics, supplements, etc....and I've learned a ton of really great things! You could ask, "how do you know what you're reading is right?" Well, I can't confirm everythign I read, just like I can't confirm all I say, do or how I live....BUT it's that little intuition in the back of my head that says, this is good.....

When we're about to do something wrong, our conscience lets us know....right? It's no different with what I'm doing. I ask myself, is it wrong to eat fresh veggies, lean protiens, fruit, and healthy oils? NO it's not..... "Is it wrong to give up foods with ingredients I can't pronounce?" NO it's not...."Is it wrong to workout and/or walk 4 or 5 days a week?" NO it's not.

So,  I have almost finished my 30 day challenge. Next Tuesday is the last day.....but would it be wrong to just keep going? NO it wouldn't be. I have found that I can keep eating clean and natural and make a choice to not eat additives or preservitives any longer. I do not need refined sugar in my life...nor do I require grains or dairy....I do require food to live and to fuel my body, but I have decided that it's up to me what choices I make as to what foods I use for that purpose.

I beleive in my heart that everything I've done up to this point in my life, has led me to make this choice. The choice to rid my body of toxins, and become a healthier person both inside and out. I choose to make food a safe and pwerful form of medicine! How about you?

Mexican food without the chips?

This was a tough one....I'll admit....and had I not been in the midst of the "challenge" I'd have used a cheat on those tasty corn chips....LOL.....but none the less, I passed on my first Mexican food dining out experience.

I simply sliced up carrots put them in a snack bag and did carrot chips and salsa.....and it wasn't bad....then I ordered and split combo Fajitas with a frined and told them to hold the sour cream and tortillas....Whala! A perfect Paelo dining out experience.....

Dining out is easy but it's the Mexican and Italian that are the tough ones because of chips and salsa and then of course at Italian, it's the wonderful bread and oil they set in front of  you that is hard....but I want this worse than giving in to temptation!

Made mayo yesterday! I have to say, it was SO easy....then my friend and I tasted it and as much as I would make adjustments to it, it was kind of bland...so I went to the fridge and poulled out a jar of Best Foods I had in there and thought, what flavors am I missing?

Yuuuuuuccckkk.....first, it had every BAD oil listed along with additives and preservatives up the wazoo! But one thing that was listed that surprised me was sugar! In mayo? So you see, that added refined crap is everywhere......siiiggghhhhh......So part of going totally clean and natural is learning to taste food in it's REAL state....and many times it'll be the first time I've ever done that....SUGAR is everywhere......start reading your labels.....you'll find it in things you least expected it..

Happy Monday!

Chicken Salad with no mayo....really?

Really! It was good too....I used butter lettuce as my eating vessel. I am always up for a challenge. And taking any food, recipe or meal and revamping it Paleo is kind of fun.....here is what I made for lunch....

Chicken Salad

3 oz cooked chopped chicken breast
1/2 stalk chopped celery
1/4 chopped red bell pepper
1 boiled egg, chopped
1/4 avocado
a splash of my homeade lemon vinegarette
salt, pepper and dill weed
I'd put chopped dill pickles in it next time but didn't have any

Mix it all together and place in lettuce cups and chow down!

Sometime this weekend I will tackle homemade mayo.....but honestly since I'm not eating sandwiches, I have no need for mayo right now....avocado makes a great, creamy binder in my opinion. I also like to use Endive as eating vessels too....

BonAppetie!

Juicing my way into the day!

Wow, talk about an energy booster! I just juiced the following....1 red beet (raw) 3 carrots, one mango and one apple and 1/2 bunch of Kale.....it's bright red and very tasty.....and it's like I drank 4 cups of espresso! LOL.....but totally clean and natural!

I try to juice at least 3 days per week. For the Points Plus value I figured 5 because of how concentrated it is. But none of got here because we eat too many fruits and veggies, right? Ha!

Today is what I'd call a lean and mean day....lots of veggies, lean protien and juice. I might be bouncing off the walls but I'll take it! Onward!

So you're really sticking with this huh?

This is something someone said the other day, "So your'e really sticking with this huh?" Yeah, I really am. 17 days in now and I can't shout it from the rooftops loud enough....I FEEL FANTASTIC! I read about those who really struggle with weaning themselves off grains, sugars or dairy and while I miss cheese the most, I really haven't had the headaches, dizziness, etc., that some have experienced while their bodies get used to the transition.

As I've said before though, because I'm also a Weight Watchers junkie, I ate really good anyhow....so the big thing for me was was just an amped up "Simply Filling" plan. I'm averaging between 22 and 26 WW Points Plus values per day, which is in line with where I need to be.

I'm dropping weight but am not centering my success on that....(7 lbs now) as much as finding that my stomach & GI issues have cleared up....Bye Bye IBS! In addition to that, I can't beleive myself how well I'm sleeping! Like a teenager! And of course then there is the endless energy I am experiencing....this is primarily because my insulin levels aren't lowering and spiking during the day any longer.....they reamain more even throughout the day....seems simple enough....I wished it hadn't taken me so long to discover it....

I LOVE the challenge of going to the grocery store now and looking for a jarred or bottled product with just those coveted one or two organic ingedients.....there aren't many of them....but you can find them if you spend the time to look. If you center your search around the Gluten free and/or organic products it's easier to zone in on them.

Not everything I buy is natural, organic, range free, pastured or grass fed, but every week it is moving more and more that way.....I'm taking this in phases....when you start talking to people who eat Paleo, clean and natural, you'll be surprised at how many tips, tricks and sources you'll discover.

It's going to be a great day! Enjoy it.....ciao for now!

Paleo Meatloaf

I LOVE meatloaf.....and so I wanted to try my hand at a cleaned up version....

This is one of those recipes that I made and said, "It's a keeper!" This is a "clean" version of a meatloaf you'd find in most recipe books......it's tasty and made a pretty good sized loaf

Ingedients

Approx 1 pound of grass fed ground lean beef
1 med sized boiled red potato - mashed (for binding)
1 cage free egg
approx 1/4 cup of chopped mushrooms, squash and onion
1/4 cup of organic marinara sauce or homemade (I used my clean homemade version)
garlic salt and pepper to taste

Saute the veggies in a tad bit of EVOO
Mix all ingedients in a mixing bowl, leaving the egg for last after the mixing cools down the veggies so you don't cook the egg....mix well.
Form into a loaf in a pan sprayed with oil (easy cleanup)
Bake at 350 for approx 40-50 minutes, until no pink is left
At the end you could put more marinara on top and broil quickly to have that coating we know and love

Serve immediatley if eating right then, but I let it cool and sliced it up to use during the week for different recipes and meals.....

I plan on making Paleo mayo and having a lettuce wrap....I LOVE meatloaf sammies!

Bon Apetite!

Sweeeeeet Potatoes! Yum!

One of my favorite meals of the day is breakfast. I LOVE eggs and the fact that I can do SO many things with them. Of course there are tons of recipes on all the Clean and Paleo sites out there.....but I never limit what I eat with eggs....

Today I made a prize winner scramble....this is one I'll have again for sure....

1 organic egg & 1 egg white scrambled
1/2 organic chicken sausage
1/2 cup grated sweet potato
1/2 cup mixed fresh veggies-chopped
Sauté sausage, potato and veggies and  add in egg mixture and scramble...

Mmmmmmm....gave me that "comfort food" feeling when I ate it...13 days in on my challenge and I feel fantastic! Have a great weekend!!!

Holidays and eating clean

So yesterday was the 4th of July and I navigated through the buffet like a champ! Of course it helps that so many people are like minded and bring healthy dishes....and I know what NOT to eat, right? I brought a medly of mixed stir fried veggies with a nice balsamic sauce that I knew me and my "challenge" friends could eat.....my plate looked like it should.....lean protien, salad, veggies and fruit.

I have to say, I missed being able to eat the healthy spring rolls that were there, but the crackers, bread, etc....didn't call to me at all.....I missed having wine, but all in all....nothing made me do the "mind over matter" chant in my head.

I asked my other friends doing this challenge with me if they were carving or missing anything and they both said sugar.....they both ate a lot of sweets prior to the challenge but I didn't.....I am surprised I am not really craving anything like my trainers said I would.....but I ate pretty healthy before...but cheese is one thing I do miss....that creamy goodness that is SO great on eggs, etc....but like anything else, I'm just telling myself that 30 days to better health is worth it.....

Two weeks in and my digestion, stomach, GI issues are almost a thing of the past...pretty cool huh?? My energy level is much better....and I have almost no hip pain at night when I sleep anymore and don't wake up achy.... That's enough evidence to me to stick it out.....Onward!

When I grow up I wanna be like....

...Isabel Rizzo! She is 87 years young! She is one of those little old ladies we ALL strive to be. Don't get me wrong...although she still walks every day...she moves slower in her golden years, but YAY for her to get out and move daily! She looks like she's had lots of experience with life, kids, grandkids, etc....but the one thing about Isabel that stands out above all else, is how SHARP she is.

She and I struck up a conversation about "eating clean". She ate "clean" before people had even heard about it.....before it was a "pop culture" thing....She "got it" waaay before the rest of us did.....She navigated the aisles of "Health Food Stores" with the hippies and Naturalists....She knew the value of eating organic and natural food with no "Crap" in it.....and she is reaping the rewards of that today!

When I'm 87 years old, I want to walk every day, read to the kids at my local school, tend to my family and be able to carry on daily like Isabel Rizzo. Onward!

7 days down and feeling great!

Good morning!

We've had blistering heat out here....105, 109 yesterday and this week more of the same....I always ask myself, how did the pioneers do this??? No AC, fans and they still had to work in the heat regardless. They had no choice if they wanted to feed thier families....

So the Pioneers....they ate off the land, and worked hard....I'll bet they didn't have an obesity epidemic back then.....fresh food, cooked without any fillers, additives or preservatives....and hard work....reminds me of my life these days....LOL....clean eating and working hard at CrossFit.

7 complete days under my belt now and I feel great! Sleep is amazing....along with my stomach GI issues being 98% non-existant. YAY me! So, what is the culprit, dairy or grains? We'll find out in late July....

I didn't eat a lot of sugars and grains so that part hasn't been really tough....but cheese is my longing...no worries though, as I am so excited to complete this challenge and then I'll continue with small modifications. I've been averaging approx 22-25 Weight Watachers Points Plus values per day. Trust me when I say, I'm getting plenty of food.....haven't been hungry once....

As for CrossFit.....well, after 30 days (12 sessions) of OnRamp I doubled my reps for squats, push ups, ring rows and 2/200 meter runs and shaved a minute off my time....LOVE my trainers!

Have a great week everyone! Stay cool!

Word Up!

Happy Friday!

So one of the things I said was challenging was using all those quick and convenient sauces....right? So to keep me feeling good about my choice, I decided to look at the ingredients on something and disect those words of which I do not know....so here is the Friday frightening word....I found this in a bottle of Light Ranch Dressing....yikes...just one of the about 15 ingredients listed....

Disodium guanylate, also known as sodium 5'-guanylate and disodium 5'-guanylate, is a natural disodium salt of the flavor enhancer guanosine monophosphate (GMP). Disodium guanylate is a food additive with the E number E627.[1] It is commonly used in conjunction with glutamic acid (monosodium glutamate, MSG).
As it is a fairly expensive additive, it is not used independently of glutamic acid; if disodium guanylate is present in a list of ingredients but MSG does not appear to be, it is likely that glutamic acid is provided as part of another ingredient such as a processed soy proteincomplex. It is often added to foods in conjunction with disodium inosinate; the combination is known as disodium 5'-ribonucleotides.
Disodium guanylate is produced from dried fish or dried seaweed and is often added toinstant noodlespotato chips and other snacks, savoury rice, tinned vegetables, curedmeats, and packaged soupDisodium guanylate is not safe for babies under twelve weeks, and should generally be avoided by asthmatics and people with gout, as guanylates are metabolized to purines. However, the typical amounts found in food are generally too low to produce significant side effects.[1] Since it is often produced from fish,[1] vegans and vegetarians may wish to avoid it unless the product is specifically labeled as vegan or vegetarian. Such labels require the use of non-animal derived sources, such as seaweed or yeast.

SO far, SO good!

Good morning....so I'm 5 days in....really started Sunday but started the 30 day count on Monday...the 24th....is the official countdown date.....you know because I follow the Weight Watchers plan, they've taught me over the years to eat really good.....so I am not having to work too many veggies and fruit into my diet because they were essentially there already.....

The difference has been of course eliminating cheese (dairy) and no grains....and even that hasn't been bad at all....but let me tell you the biggest thing I'm noticing is how many times I realize I would go to the pantry or fridge for that quick box of this, or can or jar of that.....Bottled sauces, etc.....yikes...now that has been an eye opener.....

So, creativity is the key to this.....because I don't DO steamed veggies and chicken people.....LOL....I must taste, spice, zest and want that food to dance in my mouth....my WW leader said last night at our meeting....I want a PARTY in my mouth....

I'm not one of those people who does food as a fuel and a second thought.....like who are these people who say, "Oh, I just forgot to eat" WHAAAAT???? May I ask, how does one FORGET to eat??? Not me.....I start planning my next meal as I'm eating the one in front of me.....can anyone relate?

And of course my first weekend without my favorite elixir is coming up......but I got this.....I'm driven....no wine for me......water is cleansing.....cleansing is good.....and of course, CrossFit is keeping me focused as well......so I lift my water bottle and say, "Cheers" to you all.....it's going to be a great day!

Prepping for success

So I've depleted my home of all my trigger foods...cheese mostly, because other dairy isn't a big thing for me.....grains also don't tempt me either unless I'm out and the waiter sits bread down in front of my Schnoz! LOL......so while I'm not going to throw them away, my fridge will hold only fresh ingredients...

I also went to Costco and Bel Air yesterday and stocked my fridge with roasted chicken, chicken breasts, and pork tenderloin....although I can't really use sauce based marinades any longer I can use rubs and spices.....I will also go get lean ground beef to make a meat loaf and meatballs...my trainer said he boils potatoes and uses them as a binder along with an egg for his meatballs and meatloaf and he said it works better than bread crumbs....

I already had some salmon and Telapia so I'm good on the lean protein......Here is a list of staples I will not be without at anytime...

Lettuce
Avocado
All other veggies
Spaghetti squash- I cut this in half, microwave both halves for 6-8 minutes and scoop it out and it stays in the fridge for at least a week :)
Some kind of quick go to lean protein
Olive oil
Vinegars
garlic
Fruit- at least 3 kinds
Crushed, organic tomatoes (got some at Costco)
Homemade Marinara sauce - see recipe below
Homemade pesto (without the cheese) see recipe below
Homemade Salad dressing- easy, peasy....olive oil, vinegar and anything else that is clean to flavor it
Eggs
Egg whites (I buy the cartons)
Unsweetened Almond milk (use for smoothies and coffee)
Lemons
Sweet potatoes
A couple red potatoes (to use as a binder)

How I am prepping is.....

*Perfect weather to oven roast some veggies....lot's of them, so they're cooked and ready to go. I roast them aladente so if I heat them or stir fry them during the week, they're not mushy....yuck, nothing worse than that....also after I roast veggies, I layer them in a tupperware container, with paper towels in between, as roasting does bring out the moisture in veggies...
*I will take the roasted chicken off the bone to use for salads.....I will season and BBQ the pork tenderloin medium rare and slice it and freeze those just under-done slices for easy cooking as well....

Some meals for the week will include....

Salads
Stir Fry
Meat loaf
Spaghetti squash w/ marinara sauce- see below
Lettuce wrap tacos
Scrambled eggs with veggies
Smoothies (with both veggies and fruit and kale or spinach)

A couple condiments I decided I was not giving up (almost clean but not quite) are- Siracha Sauce and tomatillo salsa...don't be afraid to pick a couple for yourselves....Since our main goal is cutting out big dairy, grains and preservatives I see no need why you can't have a little coffee creamer or stevia, etc....
I made some oil and vinegar salad dressing to always have on hand....in addition here are a couple fast and easy sauces I will make as well because if I have the on hand, it's easier to make a quick meal

Marinara Sauce (for spaghetti squash or over chopped stir fried veggies))

1 lrg jar or can of organic crushed tomatoes
2-3 cloves of garlic-chopped
olive oil
one med red or white onion-chopped (but not too small)
one bell pepper- chopped- not too small
1 tsp oregano (I have fresh from garden but jarred spice is fine)
1 tsp-basil (fresh but jarred will do)
sea salt & ground pepper to taste

In a sauce pan, just put a bit of the OO and sauté the onions and BP- adding in the garlic at the end.....blend the crushed tomatoes and pour in the sauce pan....add in the spices...let simmer until thickened and melded well....

You could add in browned lean ground beef or turkey if you wanted but I'm going to make meatballs so I chose not to

Pesto Sauce (this is great with the spaghetti squash as well or with stir fry)

A couple healthy bunches of fresh basil
3 cloves of garlic chopped
Olive oil
Sea salt and pepper
Pine nuts- I pan roast them first....better that way

OK, with this I usually rough chop the garlic first and over low heat in a small sauté pan I roast the garlic with olive oil and salt to take off the pungent garlic taste but be careful as garlic burns easy..

Chop basil and put in blender, adding in olive oil as it blends....you want to get it blending but not too thin.....add in the garlic and pine nuts...and finish off with more oil, salt and pepper as needed. blend to a smooth consistency....

So there you have it my friends.....my fridge is stocked and ready to go....week one is underway!

Prep work for week one is complete!

Good morning....

OK, so I spent most of last night prepping for week one of clean eating....I know from my weight loss journey the key to success is being prepared and planning ahead as much as possible....one of the things that is so successful with Weight Wathers is that no matter where I go, I can essentially eat what I want within moderation as long as I look, read and plan....

Because I'm now going a step further and choosing to eliminate those foods which I beleive to be the culprits in my stomach somersaults, I need to be a little better prepared....so I made some "go to" items that will help when I open the fridge and say, "what is there to eat?"

So I'll follow this post with a list I made for some friends of the prep I did and some pictures (if I can figure out how to embed pictures...LOL) for some things I will always try to have on hand....

I also thing it'll be interesting as I move through the days, and track on eTools to see what my Points Plus values are as well....so many of us live the Weight Watchers plan and I think it's important to see how my clean eating will compare to my days filled with a lot of processed foods.....

Have a great day!

Cleaning Up My Act starting today!

Hi there....

Never blogged before.....so essentially just testing how this works....this blog is more for me than anyone else.....I want to journal a challenge I've made with myself and a few friends...30 days of nothing but CLEAN eating! As a lifetime member of Weight Watchers, I have learned that the cleaner we eat, the better! Eating the proper foods is essential to losing weight and keeping it off and of course being healthy. I literally owe my life to Weight Watchers.....

In the past couple years, with menopause, thyroid issues and unsightly belly fat...I have been looking to jump start my metabolism again....I've developed some stomach issues and GI issues that have me being a slave to my mornings (if you get my drift) I'm sure it's either Gluten or dairy.....and the Dr said the only way to find out is to give them up for an extended period of time and then re-introduce them....yikes...I already know that being healthy doesn't come by way of a magic pill, powder or potion. Unless of course,  I want to have them jockey with Thyroid meds for the next several months. Or I was told to figure it out dietary.

So I started to examine HOW I eat and WHAT I eat....since we all know, not all calories are created equal. In addition, I started to really LOOK at and READ what was in the food I ate....did you ever wonder how so many foods we eat, stay fresh for so long? Well, it's not rocket science Mildred! Preservatives, additives, and things I can't even pronnounce! Kind of started freaking me out. No wonder I have tummy turbulence!

I was eating a lot of "go to" processed foods.....LOVE cheese and eat as much as I can while sticking to my daily PP target....and carbs....well, I don't do too bad with them but too many processed carbs.... SO, I had been hearing about "eating clean" and decided, what the heck....do it for 30 days! So my pledge is....

For 30 days, I will eat nothing that is in a box, can or jar (unless it's totally organic and has NO inert ingredients) I will eat no dairy or grains and give up wine as well (and the world gasped!) That's right! I'm "Cleaning up my act!" 30 days....veggies, fruits, lean protein and good fats.....that's it!

In addition to "cleaning up my act" I joined CrossFit too. It has been awesome....it's kicking my butt but LOVE the program and the group support! I am the "fluffiest" girl at the gym, but they now know what my determination level is. Look out, I'm going from fluffy to FIRM!

This blog will help me stay accountable, be true. It will help me track my thoughts, tips and challenges as well as successes.... So stay tuned......it's going to be a great ride!
